Services Provided:

An Emergency Safe House – secure & confidential location for women and children who are victims of domestic violence

Emergency Hotline – 716-433-6716 - trained staff available 24-7 to offer emotional support, connect the caller with counseling, provide information about DV & Sexual assault, as well as make referrals to other resources.

Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Counseling Service – Individual counseling provided for free to women and men who have experienced any type of abuse.

Support Groups - safe place for survivors to share, learn, and support each other through the healing process.

KidStrong – for children who have witnessed or become victims of domestic violence

Connextions – Supervised visitation program for non-custodial parents

Advocates

Transitional Housing – affordable housing for women and children in Niagara County that are leaving a domestic violence living situation

Community Outreach Program – for all age levels. Material focuses on prevention and response of dating violence, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

Before and After School – YWCA of the Niagara Frontier's before and after school care programs provide children with a safe place to stay before and after school hours. Programs consist of homework assistance, recreation, arts and crafts, and community service activities for middle and intermediate students; and fun learning activities, staff directed homework assistance, and quiet reading time for children in grades K-4. Daily snacks are provided with all programs.

Summer Day Camp:
The YWCA of the Niagara Frontier’s Summer Day Camp is open to girls and boys ages 5-12 years old. Their camp will run 8 week long sessions starting on July 1st – August 23rd, 2024. Part-time is available.

Their staff has integrated themes which incorporates arts and crafts, sports and recreation, dramatic arts and hands-on activities. Includes breakfast, lunch, snack, t-shirt and field trips.

REGISTRATION:
Children must have completed Kindergarten. You may register your child for any number of weeks. Schedule changes may be made until Thursday, June 13th. After June 13th, you will be financially responsible for all registered weeks. Additional weeks will only be permitted if space is available.

The YWCA followws the guidelines of the Niagara County Health Department for Summer Day Camp programs. A registration packet can be downloaded on their website. The following information must be submitted before your child is considered registered in this program:
- Completed Enrollment Form - paper copy
- Health History Form - paper copy
- Physical & Immunization record - paper copy
- Front Desk/Autopay Form - paper copy
- YWCA Family Registration Fee ($25)
