Niagara Pride, Inc.

Description:

Niagara Pride, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving LGBTQ+ individuals and families. We offer community-based educational programming and engage in charitable work for numerous organizations in Niagara County and the surrounding counties of Western New York.

Niagara Pride hosts a monthly Lunch and Learn education series as well as other free training, which serve to raise awareness of community resources, in addition to obstacles faced by the LGBTQ+ community. Niagara Pride is partnering with other local community service organizations to provide a free LGBTQ+ resource guide, which lists LGBTQ+ specific and/or LGBTQ+ and gender affirming providers.

As part of our charitable outreach, we have ongoing multiple donation drives throughout the year, such as backpack and clothing drives, which benefit local children and homeless individuals.

Our organization also hosts a Speaker Series, where local LGBTQ+ authors, performers, speakers, and community leaders provide free presentations and talks on topics impacting local LGBTQ+ individuals and families.

Niagara Pride also facilitates welcoming social events, creating safe spaces in the community for LGBTQ+ individuals, including but not limited to hosting June Pride events, meetings, and other programming.
