The Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers plays a major role in ensuring that anyone in Western New York who needs help and has no place to turn, or who has had trouble accessing services, or who has slipped through the cracks of the human service system, has a trusted place to go for help in taking the next step toward maximum independence. BFNC prepares, equips and empowers individuals to address life management issues, and to improve the quality of life in their communities.

Services & Programs:
- Care Management: A BFNC Care Manager will work with you to understand what you need to stay healthy.
- Residential Services: OMH Licensed Community Residences offering staff support, while fostering independence. Receive 24-hour on-site staffing, meals, support, advocacy and recovery-oriented services. Involvement in activities outside the residential setting include recovery oriented programs, vocational programs, school, and competitive- and non-competitive employment.

BFNC is dedicated equipping young people with the skills needed to be successful in life. We offer a range of services to address the issues that young people face daily. Our staff works with youth ages 9-21 in Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Lockport to improve access to health care and to reduce risky behaviors.

Our goals are to:
- Promote healthy behaviors.
- Ensure access to healthcare services.
- Expand opportunities and provide support for youth.
- Develop a coordinated plan for a community effort to improve the local environment for young people.
